Delivery FAQs

How does delivery work? +

Our next-day delivery service is fulfilled by DPD.

You will receive a tracking link on your chosen day of delivery with a time window for the delivery. We ask that you are in to receive your delivery. As our food is perishable, it must be delivered on the selected delivery day.

What is the delivery deadline for next day delivery? +

For next day deliveries, the cut-off is 2pm the day before.

What if my meals have defrosted? +

We have rigorously tested our packaging so that it keeps your meals frozen for at least 24 hours. The cool blocks that are included in our parcels are chilled to -40 degrees before dispatch and are designed to defrost as they work to chill the meals - so it is not uncommon for the cool blocks to have fully defrosted when they arrive. This does not mean that your meals have defrosted.

In the unlikely event that your meals have defrosted, make sure you keep it in the fridge and consume within 48 hours. Do not refreeze a meal once it has defrosted. See each item’s cooking instructions for more information on different cooking times.

Where do you deliver to? +

We deliver to most of mainland Britain, but cannot deliver to the Scottish Highlands, Scottish islands, Isles of Scilly, Isle of Man, Channel Islands or Northern Ireland.

The reason for this is that our food is frozen and our packaging has been designed to keep it so for 24 hours. Anywhere we're unable to deliver to would take DPD more than 24 hours to reach.

The Scottish postcodes we're unable to deliver to are:

  • Aberdeen AB31 - AB35
  • Northern Highlands AB36 -AB38
  • Aberdeen AB41 - AB54
  • Northern Highlands AB55 - AB56
  • Argyll FK17 - FK21
  • Northern Highlands HS1 - HS9
  • Argyll KA28
  • Northern Highlands IV1 - IV63

  • Northern Highlands PH45 - PH48
  • Arran KA27
  • Orkney Shetland KW15 - KW17
  • Dundee PH15 - PH18

If you're not sure if we can deliver to you, feel free to reach out with your postcode and we will let you know.

What do I do with my packaging? +

All of our packaging, from the delivery box to the film our trays, is either compostable or recyclable. Here are some more details:

Delivery Box, Branded Sleeves, Flyer: These are 100% recyclable with your standard paper/cardboard recycling collection.

Food Tray: the tray is made from two things - wood pulp and a polymer lining. To recycle this is easy, starting at the corner, peel the cleaned liner away from the tray. The wood pulp tray can be recycled with your cardboard, while the liner can be recycled with your squishy plastics recycling.

Film: this is 100% recyclable with your squishy plastics recycling.
